Program Overview

The MBA in Health, Safety, and Environment is designed for professionals who have developed technical and regulatory HSE expertise through practical experience and now need stronger capabilities in budgeting, strategy, leadership, and executive decision-making. The program bridges that gap while allowing professionals working in operations, industry, safety management, and related fields to continue their careers while studying.

The program is delivered across three semesters, beginning with core management capabilities before progressing into specialized coursework in occupational health and safety, environmental management, sustainability, and enterprise risk management.

• Semester 1: Core Management Training

This semester covers Financial Management, Organizational Behaviour & Leadership, Communication and Negotiation Skills, Managerial Economics, Entrepreneurship & Innovation, and Management Information System. Together, these subjects provide the general management foundation increasingly required for senior HSE leadership roles.

• Semester 2: Health, Safety, and Environmental Practice

The second semester focuses on Occupational Health & Safety Management, Environmental Management & Sustainability, and Enterprise Risk Management alongside Operations & Project Management, Marketing Management, and Research Methods. This semester connects technical HSE knowledge with the operational, financial, and strategic decisions that determine how health, safety, and environmental policies are implemented in practice.

• Semester 3: Capstone and Field Application

The final semester includes a Capstone Project or Thesis addressing a genuine safety, environmental, or risk-management challenge, together with an Internship Report that connects academic learning with a real operational environment.
